Hockey VR - Melcher Studios - Play hockey in VR with an actual real life hockey stick

Hi r/Games! My name is Rene, I am part of a small team from Saskatchewan Canada making a VR hockey game. Hockey VR is for anyone wanting a realistic immersive hockey experience in VR. You can play with VR controllers OR get an attachment that will connect your controller to a real hockey stick and let you use your stick as the controller. ​ Hockey VR Trailer Oculus Store Page ​ What's in the game? Take shots on goal with different modes and challenges. Currently, we have time limit and shot limit mode where you can dribble and take shots on net. You can try hitting goal targets, play against an AI goalie that predicts your shots, or practice on an empty net. We spent a lot of time making the controls feel natural with both a real hockey stick and without it. Future Plans The game just released last month but we are continually working on it to extend the features and make it better. Last week we released an update for local leaderboards. Currently we are working on bringing Hockey VR to more platforms and headsets and we have more modes and gameplay features coming down the pipe. All requested features are seriously being considered and indexed, so if you want something in there, let me know in the comments. Supported Headsets It is only available through App Lab for Oculus Quest 1 & 2 at the moment but we are on track to release it for Rift S and steam VR supported headsets on steam soon. We plan to also release new game modes with those releases as well. Edit: I didn't mention that we have been talking more and more about bringing it to PSVR and with how many requests we are getting, it's looking like we might go for it. Realstick Attachment The Realstick attachment is available for $12 US + shipping. We made it to snap onto your controller and stick so you can easily put it on or take it off in seconds with no tools. Once it's on you can enable realstick mode and calibrate your stick by tapping your stick on the ground 3 times.
