The Wandering Village - Stray Fawn Studio - City-building game on the back of a giant, wandering creature.

Will you give your giant love and pets or turn its blood into tasty pudding for your villagers? Our team is making a survival/simulation/city-building game about the biological topic of symbiosis. The player takes on the role of a village leader and must ensure the survival of their people. Our game’s world is heavily inspired by the Studio Ghibli movie ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’: Toxic plants are spreading and are gradually making life on the surface impossible. Fleeing their village, our people climb on the back of an Onbu, an ancient giant that wanders through the land. They form a symbiotic relationship with Onbu as they depend on each other for survival. This leads to many tricky decisions as the two parties interests and needs don’t always align. We’ve been working on the game for over two years now and are hoping to launch into Steam Early Access later this year! And a few months later to Xbox.
