Andarin Weppes - mötiv - First-person non-euclidean puzzle game where you play as a man with ever advancing dementia who can’t find his bed.

Greetings to all puzzle lovers!

I'm taking part in Indie Sunday for the third time. And I'll soon finish my game! As a solodev, I draw inspiration from puzzle games like Superliminal and Portal. I've been working on this game for about 7 months, and I wanted to share it with the r/Games community once again.

About Andarin Weppes

Andarin Weppes is a first-person puzzle game that takes place in a non-Euclidean house. The rooms and walls of the house are connected to each other, which means the player can enter through a door and suddenly find himself walking on the ceiling. The player wants to sleep, but because of the dementia he has, he can not remember where his bed was.So the main objective is to go through the non-euclidean faces of the house while solving puzzles with books and finding the bed. When the player sleeps, each time his dementia gets worse and the house gets more complicated, the puzzles get harder.

Mechanics

There are magical books in the house Which can open and close doors in the house. Each book has special effects on the player, like Jumping, No-Gravity, Getting Heavier. Also in this game, the gravity is local, which means every object has its own gravity which, when combined with the wall walking, creates interesting situations like books falling on the ceiling or the walls.
